How Many Resorts Are You Seeing Today?

I just deposited 2 weeks, 2 years out. I was seeing in the range of 145,000 units to 164,000 units in the past. I now am seeing 54,010 units from July 1, 2010 to July 1, 2013. ????????????????

I meant to post this yesterday, but see I did not . . . my numbers are as they have been recently . . . 140K-ish . . . all four deposits, still missing 25K-30K from before the disenhancement.

Most importantly to us, our favored destination, FL/SCG, is still half what it was before, the good stuff being what's missing.

I'm still waiting for a reply from my favorite feedback person. Perhaps this is harder than normal to explain, or perhaps it is that she/they know I/we know what we are talking about, so the normal RCI-speak will not work.

Every weekend they load more hotel units. I would be more interested if they could be in POINTS as 2 or 3 days at some of these would be pretty nice.

I am currently seeing another 6K decrease in availability but am also only could thru June 2011. I can't imagine my 6k loss is all due to July2011 though.

I know it's not new news, but RCI seems to have the only techies who do not live in the real world . . . like the recent redesign where months are listed alphabetically rather than chronologically. No one, anywhere, does dates that way, except, I guess, RCI techies.

I am still awaiting an answer to the 25-30K disappearing exchanges . . . I just resent the email to feedback.

OK, folks, they went somewhere . . . just tell us where. Pretty simple.

Where are the August 2011 deposits

I know it's early but there are currently 0 deposits for the first 8 days of August 2011 worldwide. Surprising, but I guess it's not impossible.

8/1/11 is a monday---the first "regular" check in day in August '11 is 8/5/11. Add in a few days to confirm unit availability post-deposit, and it's not completely surprising.

Also, thanks to JLB for reminding us all to check our accounts after every single interaction with a guide. One "helpfully" confirmed a unit I had on hold, without me telling her to, and without informing me. She was able to do it by "poaching" an exchange fee that was placed when a search was initiated on another unit, so that she didn't have to ask for my approval to charge my card. I wouldn't have called at all, but I wanted to know the unit number for the week on hold.

Naturally, I also logged in as soon as I was off the call, and noticed the screw-up. Good thing I didn't wait until Sunday night or Monday to check...

It is clear to me that it is a matter of missing weeks from the system rather than trading power.

I mostly search Europe, and while overall, there is little to nothing in the more popular places in warm season. The UK in particular has become a hard place to find anything worth trading into. The fact that an occaisional gem slips through tells me my trade power is still fine, but theres just nothing there. I have seen a few summer UK weeks from time to time, just a whole lot fewer of them. I have seen a summer 1BR at Royal Regency in Paris and several summer weeks just outside Venice, and summer in Rome. They were even apparently bookable. But overall, the old blue week I used to own on the OBX used to see a lot more decent stuff in the UK than my tiger sees now.
