Nothing summer so far this day for coastal SE US. Nothing in the caribbean with the exception of Morritts. There's a reason I'm not posting ex-ops. I'm not seeing any availability in prime season or at any time. Nothing like telling me "You will go to Disney or you will leave RCI."

Based on what you guys are saying, it sounds like the availability for exchanges within RCI has gone down significantly.

we have forums for each of the exchange companies where some of us doggedly go in and persue what are the better weeks available for exchange and post them daily.

You will be able to see those forums if: you have 30 or more posts, make a small contribution to the site to support operating costs or write a timeshare review.

We are known for the dedication we have to doing this.

I believe you are better off not knowing what we used to be able to get as I find the "new & improved" version of exchanging RCI style very frustrating.

I'm thinking RCI thru Jim a bone on that one measly, very off season week.

The disappearances during enhancement are universal. No one is seing the better stuff.

I am hearing from the other side that it still may be tied to the enhancement and that it still may be corrected. My sense is that that is a guess cuz no one on the other side really knows, other than knowing that's what normally happens when the techies play around.

To those who are looking for what is missing, here are some clues:

Prior to the enhancement, for the next 24 months, all of Florida was running around 16,000 . . . right now it is 13600.

Southern Gulf Coast was running between 585 and 625 . . . right now it is 319.

I am talking about figures I, and others, were seeing every day since the changes were made in rci.com to where we could see the numbers. I am not talking about wildly fluctuating numbers, as they have not. They have moved slowly from day-to-day, within those ranges.

We all know that we could see numerous Sanibels and better FMB, Marcos, DVCs and so forth before the enhancement. The SW FL stuff was plentiful during hurricane season.

So, for all of Florida, we are missing around 15% and for SGC we are missing about 47% of what was regularly available before the enhancement. The better stuff.

Had a lovely time in WI Dells, though I didn't see much of it. Conferences are annoying that way. Got to see my best buddy from highschool for lunch when I arrived so that made the whole thing well worth it.

148,672 is the total units I see with a travel window of 01-Feb-2009 to 29-Feb-2012. June 27, 2009 at 9:15 CDT.
