I just saw this on Drudge Report

FLASH: CENDANT is planning to put its travel business, which includes ORBITZ, CHEAPTICKETS, up for sale Monday; expected to be sold for more than $4 billion...


I wonder what it means about RCI??????

Maybe I can buy RCI.

This sounds good. I will have to check my spare change to see if I can afford to buy RCI. I think it has a lot of promise.

If I bought it I would try to get more week rented out to maximize my gross income.

Actually, it would be nice if they would spin off RCI as a seperate company again, and somebody with an interest in running an exchange company for the long term bought it. Even better, perhaps they could get Christel DeHaan to come back as a consultant to help them straighten out the Cendant mistakes.

RCI isn't a part of the group that they are selling off.

The travel business is one of the four pieces CD intended to spin off. From what I have read it appears that some unsolicited offers came forward for it.

If that were to happen to the other pieces maybe there will be no CD, or maybe RCI will be left standing by itself.
