What's up with RCI? Do they look for the stupidest person they can find and have them answer the phones?
I called RCI today and asked them what is the difference between the Disney Resorts listed that have the RD code and the ones that have the DV code. They answered "There is no difference, they are the same". So I asked why separate them with different codes? They said the RD ones are extra. Extra what? I have heard the RD are rentals and the DV are points but, you can rent both.
I called Disney and asked are all the rooms at the new Bay Lake Tower the same? They said yes they are, the only difference is the size - studios, 1 and 2 bedrooms. All studios have a mini kitchen, the 1 and 2 bedrooms have a full kitchen.
So, why is RCI coming up with these different codes? The RD ones are a lot cheaper for extra vacations than the DV but, they are the same units. Very strange.
