RCI's trailer park option

Talk about quality accomodations! How about exchanging into a trailer park, and livinig in a camping trailer for a week? That is now part of what RCI is offering.

Recently searching in France, the first three ''resorts'' that came up on RCI were trailer parks. Then searching Italy, the first one on the list for the Rome area was a trailer park.

Has RCI started affiliating trailer parks in the US yet? Maybe some could achieve Plastic Crown status.

Geez, after renting so much of the good stuff, they want us to be satisfied trading into a trailer park?

Actually there is a "trailer park"on Cape Cod that rivals many RCI resorts. This park has three pools, a clubhouse, laundry, scheduled activities for children and adults. Many of the "trailers" are parked all year and contain central heat, a/c, 2 baths, 2 or 3 bedrooms and are similar to the resort of Sedona Pines.

I don't think the trailer village exchange has hit the US, but I know caravaning is big in parts of Europe.

Fort Wilderness has trailers in Disney and I love the place. It's great fun with the kids.

I've also stayed in Little Gull cottages in Longboat Key and to me those homes are glorified trailers (pre-fab) construction but still very nice and upscale feel to them.

I've also seen on the travel channel trailer parks in Malibu beach that cost millions.

If you go to the Keys there are also tons of trailers and they are very highly sought out.
