    OH Boy! Here we go again

    extended maintenance hours tonight. We all know what THAT means...

        They're modernizing from their old IBM System360 to a VAX 11/780. Also rewriting all of their outdated FORTRAN code in COBOL. Should be a trivial maintenance.

                Hmmm. . . looks like more ''enhancements'', which to those of us with frequent flyer miles knows is corporatespeak for screwing the customers. You'd think they would learn that the sheep out here have figured out what that word really means.
