I have called to change a search and there has been no additional charge. However, there is no way to know if the initiation date was changed. At least no way I know to check.
Also, when you look at the ongoing search criteria online, if you have multiple areas or dates, not all if them show up. I have called to confirm that all my information is there and the VC does confirm that, but it makes you wonder. Especially since, in the past, the VCs usually get my requests wrong and I have had to call to correct them (or I have changed them myself). I definitely do not like this "new feature".
