  • Is this a new RCI "feature"?

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I went into my RCI account today and went straight to "Search for a Vacation". It took me to "Extra Vacations" and would not let me click on the Exchanging button saying I had no deposits to exchange. That was not right since I have about 5 of them. So I went to look at my account to see what happened to all my depostits, including a couple of ongoing searches and saw that there was a unit on hold.

Is this RCIs way of alerting me that I have a unit on hold? How about saying "You have a unit on hold!". I can not duplicate it because once I looked it seemed to work OK and I could Search again.

Could be a one time glitch or it could be their idea of a new "feature". I released the hold so I cannot tell.

If my ongoing search ever comes up with a match, I'll let you know!

It is a bug. They have problem to think straight on their logic to handle your search request.

It hapeens from time to time. Sometimes when I search few mins, it says they can not release the hold and I have to redo the seach again and see they try to run their number in 10 mins.

It does seem like it is taking a VERY long time to get hits on ongoing searches, doesn't it? Much longer tha it used to, ever with supposedly strong weeks.
