It occurs to me that RCI has a business ethic similar to a major developer here.
They do stuff they know they should not, stuff they know will piss people off, but they know the law and they have a strong legal team. They conduct business by doing whatever they want, knowing they can get away with it, but leaving pissed off people in their wake.
Yeah, sorta like a certain Central Florida timeshare developer, yeah, like that.
So, no one is rooting for them . . . folks can't wait see them fail, or the see the next agrieved party drag their ass to court.
As for the local one, when things got tough, his business stopped cold, as no one cares about him at all. They say he got what he deserves.
Seems like long ago in my accounting classes at Moo U there was an entry called Goodwill, and it even got a monetary value on the balance sheet. What happened to that?
