I went back to look at what I had gotten for my daughter. When I went to the confirmed unit, there was a button to the right that said "print confirmation". When I clicked on that, the confirmation opened up. It showed my name at the top, then below it showed my dd's name as the Guest. It was all one document. That is what I printed and mailed to her for her to use.
I'm glad to hear that appears to be all they need. That I can get. I was just uneasy that that very same document says that a separate Guest Certificate is required.

Well, there are several things that says that aren't always correct. The Guest Certificate says you have to be 21 to use it. Dd is 19. I called the resort, twice, to be sure she could check in with no problem. And I was told, twice, their check in age is 18. As I said, she had no problem. I think she said she was asked to show id, that was it. In fact, I'm not even sure if she had to show the confirmation or Guest Certificate.

Update: the VC I talked with on the phone arranged for me to be sent two more confirmations, but no Guest Certificates. Just after talking with her, and before starting this thread, I sent e-mail off to RCI saying I hadn't gotten my Guest Certificates.

Today I got e-mail with honest-and-for-true Guest Certificates attached. This *is* different from the confirmation, and it's what I remember getting in the past. This was solely because I complained to RCI via e-mail---the phone got me nothing.

Now, it's a separate question as to whether my guests will actually need those certificates when they check in, but the good news is, they'll have them.

One more thing, after I finally got a mailed copy of the exchange confirmation about a month or less from check in, then a few days later RCI e-mailed me that the exchange had been canceled. The replacement exchange paperwork was sent immediately.
