    The resort season designation does not always 'match' what RCI calls the weeks ...you have gotten excellent advice from Vicki above, please take it - contact the resort after u close and then follow her advice.

      For RCI trade power, red season means ... nothing, really. The later in the spring, the better the trade power; there are many shades of "red".

      But if instead of RCI, you decide to use certain alternate exchange companies such as Trading Places, I believe you must have "red" season to exchange for their "red" season available weeks. In those cases, it wouldn't matter which red week you deposit.
