Hi Mark,

What is the chance of exchanging into a 2-bedroom unit in Rome or Florence in Apr/May 2008? Would you please list the resorts where DAE usually gets the deposit weeks?

Martin, thank you for your enquiry. We have seen an increase in the last year or so of Italy property owners wanting to join Dial An Exchange and make use of our system. The bankings we've received so far have been made up of timeshare properties as well as owners of private properties wanting to exchange some time with us. European summers are very popular and owners tend to hold on to their time until only a few months from check-in, making it difficult to predict this far ahead the number of deposits we are likely to get. On thing in your favour is the time of the year you want to travel. April is a good way to go and I would definately request any dates in both April and May months. Consider your options seriously before you reject an offer... The broader the date range the more you'll be offered..The number of people in your party will also be a factor. Be specific in providing the exact number of adults and children. I'd recommend you enter your request approx. 8 months prior to your intended travel dates.
