What is the normal Timeframe for Getting an Exchange

Being used to RCI and having to book 2 years ahead for popular areas, I am just curious of what your average lead time for an exchange request getting filled. I know this is a generic question but am just curious when it would be time to either start a different request or wait. Thanks again

Mel, thank you for your enquiry. Unfortunately, I'm not able to provide you with a definate answer to your question. We can only confirm requests from weeks being deposited into our bank or pool of weeks. As we cannot predict what owners do with their timeshare weeks from year to year, I cannot give you a timeframe from request to confirmation. We might get ten bankings at a particular resort this year and next year through word or mouth for example we might get two hundred bankings.. I can only suggest that if you are requesting an area which is in high demand or holiday time, that you enter your request at least ten to twelve months prior to your intented date of travel. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

Thats a perfect answer. I really just was looking for some type of lead time whether it be 5 months or 2 years. Thanks for your quick response.
