follow up to request

Hello Marc,
Just wanted to be sure...we put in a request at the end of January, and got an email confirmation about the request. I guess I'm just going to assume that the request is ongoing unless I hear differently. Can't find any place on your website that says the search is going on...Is this correct?

I have taken over for Marc as he has moved on to new and exciting ventures worldwide. I would be happy to chime in with any input I can and hope I can be as helpful as Marc has been in the past. I'm sorry for the dealy in responding.

Concerning your question, We check new deposits against all open requests on a daily basis, as soon as we have a match, we proactively contact the member by phone.

We do not have an online facility to check the status of your request, we pull any matching deposit to your request before it even gets posted online. Besides, we like talking to our members. Sometimes we find the request is more for an experience than a specific location, so we'll sometimes present alternative destinations as they become available (that's hard to put on an email or have a computer figure out).

I would like to verify that you are receiving the email alerts when a thread is posted. Right now with every post Marc gets an email. If you are not getting the email. Then please post your email here or email it to me so I can change it in the system. After it is changed we will try it out once to be sure it is working.
