While you are waiting for Fermin to reply. I can answer half of your question in the mean time. Unfortuntly Marc is gone, He is no longer with DAE. Fermin has now taken over his place.
Marc was one of the founders and co-owners of DAE. Did his partner buy him out or did someone else? Or has Marc just returned to the Australian office? I know when I spoke with him shortly after DAE bought Donita's that he had planned to be here for a while to get things going and then return to Australia.

I can't answer that because I do not know. Marc was great here we had a great relationship for many years. At the end he did not contact me to let me know he was going. One thing I do miss is that Marc was here within a few hours to answer a question.
Sorry I haven't been here "within hours to answer questions" Frank, but I don't seem to be getting email alerts when there is a posting.... maybe you can help me out?
You are correct in that Marc is no longer with DAE. He is indeed returning to Australia to pursue other ventures as I understsand it. He did an excellent job getting the North American operation rolling and building some great relationships.
I have taken his place running the North American market for DAE and hope to have a long happy run. I intend to stay on top pf inquiries best I can and always welcome feedback and suggestions. I will try to be as helpful as possible.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, etc.
Marc was one of two partners who founded DAE. Did his partner buy him out, or has another entity bought them both out? If so who? I know there was some speculation about a major Australian timeshare management company possibly angling to do that a while back. Is that what happened?
It really doesn't bother me that there is a change in ownership, as it seems clear that the focus of the company remains the same, but I am curious to know. Unless they pull an RCI and start renting out exchange deposits to the general public or trying to cram points down our throats, I am happy.
Are you referring to Classis Holidays? I know that their timeshare owners have preferential discounted exchanges through DAE as we visited one recently.
My last DAE email newsletter was from Francis Taylor so I assume he's still there.

Fermin I think I found the problem with the email alerts. I am not sure why it happened but something changed with the site upgrade. You had said you received the email with the old software but when we upgraded you stopped getting email's.
