  • DAE the alternative..

Good Afternoon everyone, My name is Marc Chouinard, co-owner of "Dial An Exchange", timeshare exchanges. Dial An Exchange started operating approx. 9 years ago in Australia. Francis Taylor, my business partner, and myself, saw a need in providing new and existing timeshare owners with some direction on how best to use and make use of the timeshare they owned.

With no after sales or follow up service, owners were becomming increasingly frustrated and confused, with nowhere to turn for answers or advice on how to do exchanges. So we set up DAE, as a low cost exchange service along with a "help line", available to anyone who has questions or queries about their timeshare or the concept. This service is offered as a guide to educate and promote the product known as timeshare and its Industry.

With a passion for providing personal service and a vision of a totally transparent exchange system, we set out to re-write the exchange concept. No more "give us your week first", no more "pay us first and we'll see what we can do", no more membership and joining fees to pay. We introduced the one fee policy, payable when we deliver. With the help of our members to spread the word, DAE has become a leader in providing exchange holidays to timeshare and managed private property owners around the world.

With offices in the USA, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, DAE has become a respected name in the holiday industry and strive to provide our members with the service which they were promised and expected when they purchased their timeshare.

DAE was instrumental in breaking down the monopoly of "exclusivity clauses" in contracts which timeshare resorts were once made to sign in return for the exchange service offered to their owners.

DAE's Exchange Management System known as EMS was specifically written with the timeshare owners in mind and over the next few months DAE's own booking engine will be introduced, giving members the ability to confirm their own holiday directly, without the need to call us. This facility will be available worldwide, 24 hours, 7 days a week.

DAE has a simple 2 tier fee structure. To exchange locally, our exchange fee is $99 USDollars and our interternational exchange fee is $125 USDollars, payable once we confirm your exchange holiday.

The best thing about joining DAE is the free Membership. Free to join. Free Upgrades. Free to bank. Free Guest Certificates. Members also have the option of Cancellation Protection on exchanges only.

Every time you bank with DAE, you will have peace of mind knowing your week willl stay in the system for other timeshare owners to enjoy. Unlike other exchange organisations, we do not on-sell your deposited week to the open public thus depleting the pool of weeks available for owners.

I hope I was able to provide you with a bit of an insight on our company and look forward to assisting you with your next holiday needs.

Feel free to use this forum regarding any questions you might have and I will endeavour to respond in a timely manner. You can also contact DAE direct during normal business hours.

Remember, we work for you, our members.

    Marc Chouinard

    Marc,

It is refreshing for timesharers to know that there are still exchange companies that care about timesharing and timeshare owners, rather than being part of a huge conglomerate with a murky agenda like the big boys.
