Hello

1. Does this really mean what it says. Does the request "go to the front of the line" ahead of existing GA requests? Or just ahead of non-GA requests?

Just ahead of non-GA requests made after March 1st.

2. Can a GA member change a requested resort/location or must the original request be cancelled and a new one established?

if it is the same request with a slightly different criteria (date or specific request for the same location, etc) we will happily edit an existing request. If it is for a totally different place and a totally different time period we ask that the original request be cancelled and a new one put in. But we can always work with you one on one.

3. If a GA member changes a request does it maintain any priority by the date of the original request or does the change establish a new priority date?

If edited - the date stays the same.

4. Does the strength of the deposit have any bearing on the priority of the request?

Not really, what it does is impact the cost of the exchange. Remember, we reward depositors with a $1 exchange if the deposit fits our current Primetime Rewards list.

I think DAE should automatically grant members who have existing deposits the GA membership. If I had known DAE was going to charge $89 yearly for me to find a match, I would have never deposited these weeks with DAE. That is not the same terms when I deposited these weeks. I could join RCI and find more inventory if I need to pay $89 in future .

I have so many weeks banked with DAE. It is impossible for me to submit a search request for every deposit before March 1. I do not even know where I want to go in 2011 yet!

We are not charging $89 to find a match to any request. Gold Advantage only gets you a priority in the queue. We have thousands of free members and only a few new GA members, so you will see very little effect. Please give us a call for your specific needs and we will address them. We are the same customer service focused team we have always been. Just drop a us a line and let us know what we can do for you. Remember, we fulfill a great percentage of exchange via requests so get them in!
