What is DAE's policy as to both resorts and members on exchange deposits made prior to the hurricane when a resort has to close termporarily for repairs due to a hurricane or other natural disaster?

What is DAE's policy as to both resorts and members on exchange deposits made prior to the hurricane when a resort has to close termporarily for repairs due to a hurricane or other natural disaster?

Carolinian, thank you for your enquiry. If weeks are banked prior to a resort being closed due to hurricane damage, we will endeavour to get the member's assigned week changed by the resort if the member's week happens to fall when the resort is closed for repairs. We realise that this is not always possible when resorts are fully sold out. If this is the case, we would honor the credit for the banked week.
We certainly would not ask any member or any resort for monetary compensation for the banking.
