What is Platinum?

Platinum Interchange is an exchange company similar to RCI or Interval, but I have found they offer better customer service that the two biggies.

There is no membership fee to join. They offer personalized customer service and thus far I have had every one of my requests for exchange filled in a timely manner.

The silly 1-4 (allowing a member to only exchange once in four years) to certain properties like with RCI is unheard of with Platinum.

You may deposit your Week from a minimum of 60 days (domestic) or a minimum of 75 days (international) prior to check-in.

Last minute week/time deposits- PI reserves the exclusive, sole right to accept or reject last minute week/time deposits where a member(s) deposits 60 days or less (20 to 59 days) from the start date of the week/time being deposited. If PI accepts a member(s) last minute week/time deposit, then the member(s) is subject to a non-refundable $111.00 late fee and the expiration date is two years from the start date of the week/time being deposited. Member(s) may exchange traveling during the non-expiring time based upon availability for an exchange fee and any applicable upgrade fees. Nevertheless, PI reserves the exclusive right to accept last minute deposits that may be less than the 20 to 59 days requirement.

I deposited a week with them in June and received a bonus week.
I just called them today to put in a request for January for that bonus week.
I already have plans for the other week in 2013.
They are great to work with. I see they extended the triple your trip promotion
where you get 3 weeks for one deposit. The deposit has to be 11 months out.
I have a couple extra weeks and I may do this to give me some other trip
options.
No membership fees, $129 exchanges and bonus weeks. Plus they have good
inventory all around the world and is willing to find what you want.

We've been using them for several years and are totally happy with the exchanges we have gotten but particularly with the personal service. Can you imagine RCI holding a requested week for 3 weeks while waiting for a resort 's confirmation?

I am happy to see more inventory now, too.
