    Hi Mark-

    I have several weeks deposited and am about to make my first exchange request. Have a few questions:

    1) How long of a time range can I specify for the search window? Can it be an 8 or 9 months window?

    2) Obviously I already have plans for some of the weeks during that window. Accordingly, do I have an opportunity to approve/disapprove of the week offered? i.e. will someone call before the exchange is confirmed for me? Or do I need to put in a long list of acceptable weeks?

    3) Can I specify more than one search window for the same location on the same search?

    Hi Patty - Thank you for your post. All excellent questions.

    1. If you are a Gold Member, you can request an exchange up to 12 months in advance.

    If you are a Platinum Member, you can place your request up to 18 months in advance.

    2. We will search for any Gold Crown or 5 star rated resorts for the dates and area you request. An agent will call you when there is a match and offer the week to you. You may approve or decline the unit. If it's a great resort and the dates are perfect, (A Perfect Match) but for some reason you decline it, the exchange fee is due, as we would have performed the service.

    However, to avoid this kind of situation, you can specify resorts you will only accept in the Comments Box in the Request screen. Only add resorts you will accept.

    3. Yes. You can request as many search windows for the same locations as you want. However, only place those dates if you are absolutely sure you will accept them, because if there is a "Perfect Match" to what you specifically requested, the exchange fee will be due. Also, at any time prior to a match, you can cancel or modify your request dates and/or locations without any penalty.
