Hi Mark,

I'm a new member and would like to ask an exchange question.

1. I have 3 2br Ocean View KoOlina Hawaii Units - Marriott
2. 1 - 2br Ocean Front Maui Unit - Marriott
3. 2 - 2br Ocean View Prime Time Units - Marriott Newport Coast Ca.
4. 2 - 1br deluxe Ocean View Maui Units - Embassys

What would be the BEST TIME at these resorts to reserve a week to
deposit with SFX for the Highest Trading Power.

Dan - Thank you for your post. Congratulations on owning a magnificent portfolio of properties !!

For the Hawaii properties, although there is good demand year round, premium demand time (which give you higher trading power) is any week between Jan 15 through Easter week... or any major Holiday week (New Year, President's week, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas).

For Newport Beach... any week between June 15 through Labor Day.

Mark, I'm suprised about my Hawaii resorts. I thought the summer would be the best time to Deposit ???????

I also own 2 - 2br units at the Sheraton Desert Oasis, prime time in Arizona and I thought JAN-15 thru Easter would be the best deposit time for AZ
not Hawaii ???? Please respond

Dan - thank you for your reply. Summer does have high demand... it is school Holiday driven. If you deposited Summer time, your trading power would be high.

However, the period between mid-January through Easter week is premium demanded time in Hawaii. The primary reasons are more weather driven.

In most parts of the US and certainly Canada, the conditions are very cold, rainy, grey and snow. You also have the Spring Break and Easter period. One of the biggest attractions in the first quarter is the migration of the whales from Alaska. The demand although good during the Summer, isn't as great as all other places already have warm sunny weather.

When the weather is cold, wet and miserable during the first quarter, from the USA and Candada the only logical places to go for warm wonderful weather are Hawaii, Caribbean, Mexico and Arizona /Palm Springs... that is their premium demanded time.

Exchange companies can never get enough time in Hawaii during the months of February and March... the demand is extreme, and that's an understatement.

Jan 15 through Easter is also premium demand time in Arizona.
