Sell-off list email notification?

  • Sell-off list email notification?

    I have the check box checked which requests that SFX "Send me an email when the sell-off list is updated."

    Why do I never receive any notification of updates to the sell-off list?

    (My email address is correct, I am a Platinum Member, and I receive email all the time about SFX Platinum Rewards.)

    Just want to clarify that I am definitely, for sure, a Platinum Member and not a member of SFX Platinum Rewards.

      Same here. I just check on the website routinely to see what's available.

        I check that box over and over again. I do not regularly receive the emails. Every once in a while one will come-it's like a little suprise when it does

              I had been receiving e-mails regularly about the SFX Sell Off list though I haven't received one for a little while now.

                Mark, sounds like something is broken on the sell-off list email notifications. Please look into it for us.

                  Update?

                  Mark, can you or your staff provide an update on this issue? The sell-off list notification was working at some point in time. I was able to find a notification of sell-off list update as early as 3/17 of this year.

                    Hi TravelSFO - thank you for your post.

                    Too avoid running the risk of becoming an "email-nuisance" by sending out an email every time we add more inventory, we now just send a message out once a month advising of the great vacation bargains. Even if Members tell us they want email notifications, history shows that too much email causes people to click the unsubscribe button, then we both lose.

                    However... Please know that you can login at any time 24/7 and then click the SPECIALS tab, and you will see available weeks on the Sell-off list in real live time, and you can book them in real time on the site.

                    Checking every couple of days in most cases will display new additions in the Sell-off list that may not be there if you wait for the 30 day email advisement.

                    IMPORTANT: To prevent our email notifications being blocked in your service provider's spam box..... Please make sure you add both vacations@sfx-resorts.com and accounts@sfx-resorts.com to your email friendly list.

                      Mark,

                      Both vacations@ and accounts@sfx-resorts.com are already in my contacts list. Also, the last email I received about sell-off list updates was on 3/15/2010. And, because other members have reported the same issue of not receiving any email about updates, it appears that the email notification feature is not working at all currently.

                      Do we need to work with your tech support division to resolve this? It's fine if this is a feature you are not currently supporting - but just wanted you to be aware that its not working.
