Wanting to deposit 2BR Villas at Polo Towers

Hi Mark

1) I have a 2br lockout. I normally divide it into 2 weeks to deposit into II. Is this possible with SFX or does it have to be the whole unit?

2) When I deposit into II, Polo Towers decides which weeks to deposit and they do it automatically (it shows up in my II account within 24 hours.) I can choose a time frame but it has to be within three months of the time I call.
Will I have this same issue with SFX? Do I just need to give SFX the reservation number?

My fear is that Polo Towers will not confirm it when SFX verifies. I know they are supposed to but they have done that with II before when I chose the dates to deposit.

I wasn't aware that II resorts do bulk space banking like RCI does. My resort is VRI managed and dual affiliated with RCI/II. When I reserve my week, VRI asks if I am going to deposit it with RCI. If so then I cannot reserve the week as they do bulk space banking with RCI. I tell them that I will be depositing the week with SFX and they say no problem so I reserve the best prime summer week, typically July 4th week, for trading power.

I expect that it would be the same for depositing a Polo Towers Villas week with SFX as that is one of the Las Vegas resorts exchanged with SFX. Polo Towers Villas is listed in the SFX directory and I have been offered that resort before by SFX. I don't know about the lockout issue. Mark can answer that.

Brisket Lover - Thank you for your post.

With SFX you may deposit the whole 2BR unit, or just the 1BR Master Suite and use the lock-off for yourself, a guest or deposit it with another exchange company. The reason we don't accept the locked-off portion is because our Members refuse to accept them for an exchange.

With regards to verification... not a problem. It is very rare a resort refuses to verify an Owner's deposit. Even if they did, we would accept your written confirmation from them as verfication.

Refusal to verify could open up the legal door against the resort for restraint of trade, unfair business practices etc.

If you are a Gold Member, then you get a 1BR for your 1BR or you can pay an upgrade fee of $199.

If you are a Platinum Member... there is no charge for the upgrade.
