  • How Does Searching Work with Multiple Deposits?

    Mark

I have four deposits of varying weight and a bunch of bonus weeks right now with SFX and probably six different searches going on, some into 2012.

How does priority work with SFX? I'm looking for several very premium trades, must I match those requests to my most premium deposits or does SFX judge my trading power on the basis of all my deposits combined?

I understand much of the internal model of SFX trading needs to remain unpublished, and I understand that even in the best case, I may not get what I request, but I certainly want to do the maximum I can to ensure as many matches by SFX as possible.

    Thanks muchly!

Dwmantz - thank you for your post. That is an excellent question.

When you have multiple deposits, they are not aggregated to equal a combined trading power. Each deposit has an individual trading power based on it's own merits.

On that basis, you should search using the most premium deposited weeks for the more premium demanded exchanges.

    Hope this helps...

    Thanks,

Mark, how would I know which is the most premium deposited week? Unlike in RCI or II where I can search online, I can't do that with SFX. I would think it is entirely a judgement call and what I might think would be a premium deposit might not be according to someone else.
