    Mark,

I am now seeing some weeks available on the sell-off list that are actually prime weeks. For example, Desert Breezes in Palm Springs 2/25/2011 arrival. That is right in the middle of prime time for that area. In the past, we didn't see prime time weeks. I am also seeing places like Manhattan Club and HGVC/Flamingo which we never saw before. Though not in prime time, these are still very good weeks.

Is this because demand is down or what? I am just curious.

Hi John - Thank you for your post. I wouldn't say demand is down, these are typically late deposits or recent travel cancellations in our system that we currently have no pending requests for from our Members, and because they are so close to the check-in dates, we try to book them on our Sell-off list as deeply discounted rentals, or Members can use them for an exchange.

There are some really nice units sitting there... It would be a shame to see them go to waste.

Thank you for your business over the years and Happy Holidays!

I understand fully what the sell-off list is. It is just that we never used to see those prime weeks in the past until a couple months ago.

Right... as this kind of inventory gets booked the moment it is banked. I think also because we have experienced quite a bit of growth, we are also receiving much more inventory. So based on that, there is a propensity to see more late deposits and trip cancellations, which would show this kind of inventory on the Sell-off list.

          Thanks,

That is good news about the growth of SFX with more deposits.

I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
