  • Depositing Week at Alexandria D.C.

    Hello Mark,

I have deposited a week at Old Town Alexandria (Wyndham) by using the online form for SFX. I've also signed the deposit form and sent it back to SFX in the mail.

Today, I was notified that Wyndham has changed their policy regarding verification of weeks reserved and the necessity for a guest certificate.

    U-u-u-g-g-g-h-h-h!

This means I have to pay for a guest certificate if I want to exchange through SFX??? Geeez. They just keep making Wyndham ownership less and less desireable!

    . . . .

Hi Becky - Thank you for your post. I thought you get one free guest certificate per year.

    Is that correct?

    Thanks,

      Okay.........now I'm embarrassed.......I think you're right.

I bought my points resale, so I'm hoping I still get one free certificate per year.

      Thanks for your quick response.

Yes, you do get 1 free GC every year, resale or not.

You need to ask Mark to figure out from Wyndham what name need to be put as Guest, once you put it, if you change it, it will count as 2 GC, so you will pay for the change.

Becky ... nothing to be embarrassed about. There are so many things to remember and so many variances of timeshare product, it can be overwhelming sometimes. If some reason they won't issue that one free certificate, please let me know.

            Thanks,
