    If it is as you list, then it is really an effective discount of

    Gold - 20%
    Platinum - 17%
    Diamond - 15%

    Sorry, my wife always complains I am too much of a Math nerd at times. Tis just the way I am.

    PortableTech - Thank you for your post. To help avoid any confusion, I have given an example below. The SFX Cash-Card discount of a 20% off the pricing of Sell-off weeks, is based upon a further 20% of the currently discounted rate if your are Platinum or Diamond... If you are Gold, it's 20% of the stated price.

    It is the "Net Effective" rate and price that is important. And as you can see, the largest savings and the lowest prices are for Diamond and Platinum Members. The savings are also good for Gold Members.

    In the Big-Picture, to keep a sense of "VALUE"...Let's not forget the approximate retail rack-rate for these units are around $800-$1,600 for the week (depending on season, unit size and location). And remember this Card saves you money on all other transactions too!

    Discounts are factored against the Base price of Gold Membership Sell-off week...

    Gold = $499.00 – 20% ($99.80) = $399.20 Total of 20% savings

    Platinum = $424.15 – 20% ($84.83) = $339.32 Total of 32% savings from Gold pricing

    Diamond = $374.25 – 20% ($74.85) = $299.40 BEST DEAL...Total of 40% savings from Gold pricing

    The Bottom Line is... you are receiving $100 or $500 in credits to go shopping in our Vacation Store. I don't know too many store that are doing that.

    This is a Limited Time Offer. To receive the full $500 credit, deposits must be received by February 28, 2011.

    Hope this helps....

      So, if I deposit 2/15, the bonus weeks must be booked by 2/15/12 or used by 2/15/12? In other words, could I book a bonus week in January 2012 for a check-in date in the month of March?

          Mark,

          I believe there is a glitch in the website. I updated my profile, got the email with the link to redeem cash card. Clicked on the link at all it does it take me back to log in all over again. Doesn't show the $100 cash card anywhere. Just has a link at the top of the data fields that says "To Receive $100 SFX Vacation Cash-Card and Enter to Win a iPad > Click Here to Update Your Profile "

            Mark,

            Does the extension to unused weeks apply to unused bonus weeks as well?

            Also, can the $100 off a bonus week coupon I received from a past deposit be used in addition to the cash card discount?

                PortableTech - thank you for your post. Good questions.

                The extensions only apply to unused exchange weeks. They will be extended by an additional year beyond their current expiration date.

                This Vacation Cash-Card cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. The savings are actually very substantial on their own merits.

                Hope this helps...

                    Mark,

                    Should I be getting one of those emails that pertains specifically to my resort? The only details that I have are those that you pasted and the ones on the website. The way some of your earlier posts read some resorts may be getting alternate specific offers, should I be waiting for this email?

                              I got the email today - clicked thru, logged in and filled out/updated my info - when I was finished, I received a second email confirming I did my update and I needed to click thru that second email/link to 'activate' my cash card.
