  • Is there a way to see inventory before depositing?

I need to find a resort in Maui in the Lahaina to Napili area. Is there any way to view inventory online to see if there is something in this area without depositing? If there is nothing in the are and for my time requirements, I would need to cancel my reservation, possibly with a cancellation charge.

An email to SFX with my requirements did not get a reply, so not sure if there isn't anything available or I can't do the research without the deposit.

Vinter - thank you for your post. To view immediate online availability, you do need to deposit a week. (The exception is the Sell off list which is typically space 60 days out). In the event you do not see what you want, you are not able to take the week back, but you do have it available to redeem for a future exchange. There is no charge until such time you are confirmed for your exchange. In the event you do not see immediate availablity, you can place a request and start a search.

Keep in mind, as with all exchange companies, the only space you see sitting around online are weeks they have no requests for from their members. Typically, high demand weeks (like Maui) in prime time, do not sit around waiting for people to go online and book them. This is because in most cases demand is higher than supply of space and a request and search process is usually needed.

With all exchange companies, most exchanges are fulfilled not online, but with a request placed for a search.

    Hope this helps...
