We need to cancel our August 12th exchange. Could you please clarify for me what I need to do to cancel and how this affects our deposited week? Thanks!

Daileyad - Thank you for your post. To cancel your exchange, on Tuesday (Monday is a Holiday), please call Member Services at 800.739.9969 and let them know you wish to cancel.

Because it is more than 30 days in advance, your week will be credited back to your account to use for a future exchange up to the original two year expiration date.

Can you remind me and perhaps the others whom might be curious. I do believe the cancellation benefit is even better if you have the vacation insurance that SFX offers, is it not? Which is also very cheap if you have an SFX Cash Card I might add.

If you have the SFX Cash-Card, you will Save Money on your Travel Protection (in additon to other transactions).

Portable Tech reminded me of a valuable feature I failed to mention in my above post. If you cancel your booking less than 30 days to arrival, the Travel Protection doesn't actually cover the replacement of your week. However, if you have purchased the Travel Protection, SFX will replace your week for you, and is a benefit of SFX Membership regardless of your level (Gold, Platinum or Diamond).
