  • El Dorado promotion

    Hi Mark,
I just received the $2999 El Dorado promotion and it looks reaaly nice but was wondering if they ever had less than 7 day promotions or would let you split it into 2 3/4 day trips. I just can't fit another full week vacation in the next 6 months but could maybe fit in a long weekend or 2.

Hi Sally - Thank you for your post. Yes, it is an amazing offer with a great super luxury treat yourself vacation. We will ask the resort if they can do any kind of a split, and respond if they say yes.

Meanwhile, for other viewers, here are the 2-offers:

    Offer 1

    Offer 2

    Thanks,

      Hi Mark,

How does one get signed up to receive notice of these promo offers?

I'm a Diamond Rewards lifetime member, and don't always login to the website every day. Is there an email "sign up/opt in" we can use?

      Thanks!

        Hi Mark,

I have been looking these over and have seriously been considering both (although more than likely the offer good till May). My partner has been previously before she met me, and said it was truly a memorable experience.

Both adds contain the following "Availability for this unique offer is very limited and will not be available for everyone who desires to take advantage of a booking. Because of the high-demand and limited availability, Exotic Travel requires a brief review via telephone with prospective guests, at which time you may be confirmed or not."

It sounds like there may be some sort of timeshare or fractional ownership presentation that needs to be attended while on site. Is this the case? Can you say what exactly is involved in this phone interview?

My impression also is that this promotion requires attending some sales presentation. If you read the fine print it says:

"This offer is specifically designed for HIGH END TRAVELERS who are interested in a unique and unparalleled opportunity to discover and become part of what experts have said "IS THE BEST TRAVEL PROGRAM IN THE INDUSTRY" because there are no maintenance fees and allows you to use as many weeks as you like."

After reading that, I have no interest as the last thing I would want to do is attend some sales presentation in Mexico.

If it was just a normal promotion, they would NOT ask for any personal info. All you would need is the $3,000.

Gandalf - Thank you for your post.

Thank you for your post. I don’t know exactly what is discussed, but my understanding is, its with regards to what kind of traveling you do and what your preferences may be. Because this is a very unique offering with very LIMITED availability, they want to make sure what little space is available for this subsidized offer goes to those whom they feel is a good fit for their lifestyle and expectations.

Just like “every” timeshare resort you stay at, of course they would love you to take a tour (So what's new?). But there is No Mandatory Tour required to qualify for this Limited Unique Offer!

            Hope this helps...
