I own a 4 bedroom lock off unit at Williamsburg plantation week 15. What would be the most beneficial for me: depositing it as a 4 bedroom or do 2 2-bedroom deposits?

ILMKM - Thank you for your post.

Depositing a 4BR as a one-week deposit, you will be entitled to a one-week exchange.

Depositing 2 x 2BR units (assuming both deposited sides include a full kitchen) will entitle you to 2 weeks of exchange, and double the incentives for banking a week.

    Hope this helps...

Thank you mark. That was very helpful. I will have to call and check on the kitchens. Last time we were there the upstairs unit had a full kitchen minus a dishwasher and had a toaster oven vs. a full size oven. I did here rumor though that they were changing that.

So, do you only accept exchanges of units with full kitchens or nobly give incentives for units with full kitchens?

This is how the kitchens are listed on the website:

•Fully appointed kitchen equipped with coffee maker, toaster, ice maker, full-size refrigerator and microwave oven
•Kitchen in suite A also features dishwasher and range

I called and verified this. I was told that the B unit does have a toaster oven and a 2 burner hot plate and skillet.

Ilovemykidsmore - as a general rule we only accept units with full kitchens, except for major cities. The reason being... in the timeshare world, resort areas are considered as family vacations. The overall experience of a vacation home.

Except for cities, members expect to have a full kitchen in their unit, especially if they have kids, and generally will not accept a unit with no full kitchen for their exchange, as they feel it compromises their vacation experience. Just as I am sure you probably wouldn't accept a unit with a hotplate and toaster oven for your family vacation, when the standard and expectation is a full kitchen.

So the norm is a unit with a full kitchen with no incentives necessary.

          Hope this helps...

I will check for you, but it is unlikely we would accept a resort area unit without a full kitchen.

            Back to you later today.
