Mark, when do bonus weeks expire? I'm thinking of depositing my 2013 Carlsbad seapointe 2 bedroom with SFX that has a check in date sometime in late Dec 2013. I see in deposit widget that 2 bonus weeks are part of deposit special, if I were to deposit this week what would the expiration date of bonus weeks be?

    Thank You

Andy - Thank you for your post and apologies for the delay. I have been out of the country since the 7th and have just returned.

If you deposit a 2013 week in 2012, you will have until December 2014 in which to use the week.

If you deposit a 2013 week during 2013, you will have just one year to use the Bonus Week, with the one year clock starting the day we receive your deposit. The whole idea being, those who deposit further in advance receive more time to use their Bonus Weeks.

Please keep in mind, depositing a late December S. California week (except Xmas), that will have a much lower trading power for your exchange than say a week between May through September. If you typically like to exchange in the shoulder seasons and not prime time, then its a moot point. But if you prefer to exchange in high-season, then a December deposit would not be to your advantage.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks,

      Mark,

I just deposited my Gaslamp Plaza Suites July 2013 week. The bonus weeks I received expire December 2013 not 2014. Why is that?

John - Thank you for your post. Apologies... I gave incorrect information!

        Here is the CORRECTED INFORMATION:

If you deposit a 2013 week during 2012, you will have from the day we receive your deposit, through December 2013 in which to use your Bonus Week/s. We typically start our next year's promotions for deposits around June /July of the previous year. For those who responded in that period have around 1.5 years in which to redeem their Bonus Weeks. This has been the method for a number of years.

For those who deposit a 2013 week during 2013, you will have one year in which to redeem your Bonus Week/s. The one year clock starts as of the day we receive your deposited week.

The purpose of this is to incentivize Members to deposit early.

        Again, apologies for the over-sight.

        Thanks,
