Rental Car Discount

Looking at the current deposit offer, it says we can use the sfx travel store credit for up to $600 towards a rental car. Do you know how that works? I'm looking at an approx. $300 rental car. Would I be able to get it for free, or is there a calculation involved, like I can use 50% of travel rewards and 50% cash? I am playing around in the travel store, but since I have no travel store credit at the moment, I only see how I can pay cash. I'm trying to figure out if it is worth my time to try to book a HHV week to deposit so I can get a cheap/free rental car when I am there in a couple months.

Mark, You don't have to look into it and answer. I was able to get the HHV week and I am going to call on Monday to update the ownerships in my profile, anyway. I'll find out about the car stuff then.
