  • Any chance of getting a resort that isn't normally accepted?

I am wondering if I set up a search to include a resort not normally accepted for deposit, is there any chance of getting it? In particular, I am thinking about Blue Whale in Oceanside. We love the resort and I think we can only exchange in via PI and RCI. PI won't allow requesting a particular resort and I don't want to risk getting stuck with Aquamarine Villas.

Why would BW not normally be accepted for deposit?

SFX normally only accepts highly rated resorts (Gold/Silver crown) in the top seasons for deposit. But they will go get one on request even if it usually wouldn't be accepted. Just another good level of special service to customers. Something RCI and II seem to have forgotten about as they became far more focused on revenue and rentals over exchange and true service to members.

Hi Presley - Thank you for your post. Yes, you can place a request we normally do not accept as deposits. Subject to availability, there are a number of channels we can go through to access inventory.

        Hope this helps...
