  • Worldmark deposits with SFX....

    Hi Mark.

It's been a while since you last answered this question (as far as I can Google!):

What are the liabilities for a Worldmark owner that makes a deposit with SFX?

Specifically: If I deposit a Worldmark reservation with SFX and the exchanger who receives MY deposit 'damages' the unit, what are the extent of MY liabilities?

Can you comment on the history of SFX exchanges which resulted in damages/damages being levied against the member who deposited the unit? (as you did previously)

    Thanks in advance.

Taterhed - Thank you for your post. An excellent question. And my answer relates to all timshare owners using our services, not just Worldmark. With regards to liability as it relates to any damage caused by a "Guest" (The Party occupying the unit), the language used in our Membership Agreement, is essentially the same as other exchange companies. The inbound Guest agrees to be liable for any and all damages caused to the unit during their occupancy. The liability is on the "Guest", not the depositor of the week.

As to your question relating to "history of SFX exchanges which resulted in damages/damages being levied against the member who deposited the unit?".....

In the nearly 24 years we have been in business, and currently nearly 300,000 registered members, there has not been one incidence that we are aware of.

    Hope this helps...
