I was wondering how do get a "bonus week"? Do you give them at certain times of the year?

Deposit an accepted resort in "prime season" for that resort/area.

SFX also has promotions where such a deposit will garner two bonus weeks. One can be in any area and one at a number of Mexico resorts. Be aware that bonus weeks are not "free", but very reasonably priced.

Pat - thank you for your input. Let me add, the general value of the Bonus week/s is around $1,400 per week. Compared to other companies that offer bonus weeks that are restricted to left-over space that can only be booked around 60-90 days in advance, with SFX you can "request" the week you want up to one year in advance. An incredible value !!

Another question re: Bonus Weeks

Thanks for the information and the welcome, very help. I recently booked a week at FF Grand Desert within the "prime time" dates and signed and faxed over the paperwork to SFX. The week isn't until Decebmer 16th, does that mean I won't be offered a "bonus week" until after the deposit? Would that offer be made to me in December? Or if I was to be offered a "bonus week" I would of been told about it when I spoke to the rep about the deposit? The reason why I asked because it wasn't mentioned to me but I read about it on this site. Thanks

Check your account online... there should be an entry for your deposited week, as well as one or two bonus weeks. Last time I deposited, it took a few days for SFX to confirm the deposit with the resort; then the items appeared in my account.

Once they show up, you can make a request immediately.
