I quoted this because I'm not sure what it means. I thought we exchanged weeks/intervals/time/reservations.

I gave up on SFX as an exchange company because they would not answer a couple of simple questions to do with with East Coast bookings.

Cruising by this topic tonight, I'm wondering what is meant by this statement and if you could elaborate please.
Basham - thank you for your post. As a general rule an exchange company needs to accept member deposits or developer bulk bank deposits from a resort in order to give you a week of exchange into that property.

We of course work with that method too, but in certain cases like this instance if it's a resort that does meet our criteria but the Member wants to stay for an exchange, we may have access to inventory at that resort through various channels.

With regards to the "two questions not answered", if you could remind me of them, I will gladly respond.

      SFX Has accepted IPV.

In the past SFX has accepted IPV summer weeks. I deposited my 4th of July 2006 week with them. It was rated gold crown at the time I deposited and received the 3 for 1 offer. This year I received a solicitation offering me a 2 for 1 for Island Park when at the same time I was offered a 3 for 1 for Club Regina. I can only conclude that SFX does not value these weeks.

So, my conclusion is that RCI at this time will still receive my IPV weeks - it sees anything that is available.

I have been unable to Have my requests using IPV fullfilled through SFX so far.

I do not really know how the "other channels" work but did find it interesting that just after I deposited my IPV week with SFX, the same dates and unit configuration was available in RCI. It may have just been coiincidence but I wondered if SFX & RCI have an arrangement.
