New SFX Website and Making Requests

Hi Mark,

I just changed my travel plans for summer 2008. I initially had requested Hawaii but my husband decided to go to Portugal instead. I cancelled my requests and tried to put in requests for Portugal for June to August 2008 but the new website said I cannot do it since it is over 18 months. Is there a change in policy? I had requests already in place for that time period, but I can't add new ones. Do I need to call the office? Thanks.

Betty - thank you for your post. If you are a Gold Member, you cannot request space more than 12 months in advance. If you are a Platinum Member, you can place a request up to 18 months in advance.

Please keep in mind, with most resorts space cannot be booked more than one year in advance, which means most inventory that could ever be deposited with exchange companies does not appear until one year or less in advance.

I am a platinum member, I guess my question was why was I able to do it before and not anymore. I know that the units are usually not available until one year in advance. It is mostly for my convenience, so that I won't have to remember to request at 18 months. Thanks for your reply Mark.

In the new system, the furthest you can request as a Platinum Member is 18 months in advance. Hope this helps...
