  • Entending the expiration of my week

    My week that has been deposited with SFX expires in June 2008. If I want to try and use it for an exchange for July 2008, and I extend it for one month?

      Mark, I deposited a 2006 week some time ago with SFX. I am also going to deposit my 2007 weeks, but I would like to use my 2006 week for this trade, or I will probably loose it.

        When you deposit your 2007 week, one of several key benefits of the current promotion we have, your 2006 week will be given a 1-year Extension. If you pm me your full name and/or account number, I can send you the promotion for your resort.

          Mark,

          Just to let you know that there are sometimes issues with the extension by 1 year with deposit of 1 week. I deposited 2 weeks a with check in dates a couple of weeks apart at the same resort at exactly the same time and the weeks deposited previously were only extended by 1 year.

          It was fixed when I called in but if the processing is by software/system, you might want to get someone to check that issue.

            Hi Mary - maybe I am misunderstanding the post. With regards to the promotions, any existing unused deposits are only supposed to be extended by one year.

            Am I missing something?

              Hi Mark,

              Yes but since I deposited 2 weeks at Powell Place (Dec 1 and Dec 8 checkins) back in April, already deposited weeks should be extended by 2x 1 year but was only each extended by 1x 1 year. Also since both week are deposited at the sametime, one should be deemed in before the other so the first of those Powell Place deposits should get extended by 1 year shouldn't it?

              BTW, can you PM, e-mail or call me since we seemed to have some issues with another one of those deposits I made back in beginning of October which I only found out when I called today to see why a week was missing on my deposit list. Since it is a 3 way issue, would like to get this clarified.

              I think the website for deposit need to be enhance to show if something was deposit requested, signed form received, and deposited approved so we can follow the progress and straighten out issue rather than finding out weeks or months later.

                  Hi Mary - This is a very good point. Although we very much appreciate you depositing your weeks over the phone with an agent the other day, if they are deposited via the web into your SFX online account, there is an automated status reports highlighted in red that does indeed show you the status of your deposits.

                  Online Deposit received / date
                  Signed deposit form recieved.
                  Still waiting for signed deposit form from Member.
                  Sent to resorts name/date for verification
                  Declined by resort /reason
                  Accepted by resort /date
                  Credited to Member account and email sent to member with acknowledgement.


                  These are just some of the automated responses you could see when transacting online. Although we will always gladly take your call to help you, for basic transactional processing there are great efficiencies by transacting online
