Revising search request

I know you've answered this before, but I can't find the thread. If I have an ongoing search, but decide to expand it to include a wider time frame, will I lose my place in the que?

Also, what happens if I leave the original request in place, but also add other possible destinations, will that have an effect on my position in the que?

Bill - good question. If you have an ongoing search, and it was placed for example on 2/1/07, then on 2/15/07 decided to expand and add alternative locations and/or dates..... your place in queue for the original request stays in the same place.

For the additional requests, which are new requests, are in the queue position of the day you placed them. In this example 2/15/07.

I just want to make sure I got this straight. For example, I asked for Mexico on 1/07 and then in 3/07 I decided to add Hawaii. I understand that Hawaii is a new request and therefore I'm in line starting 3/07. Am I still in line for Mexico starting 1/07? Thanks.

Hi blr666 - thank you for your post. That is correct. Whatever additional requests you add, maintain their original date of entry.
