bonus week expirations

Hi Mark,
If a bonus week expires 12/31/2007, can it be used for new year's week, (12/29/07 to 1/5/07) or would it count as having expired and travel must be completed by 12/31/07?

Chemteach - thank you for your post. All travel must be completed by the expiration date.
