Hi Mark. When making a exchange request and I want to limit the request to let's say 6 resorts out of 9 that you have listed in your directory do I list the names of the resorts I prefer in the comments section. Also if one of the requested resorts becomes available do I receive any type of notice from SFX telling me of the availability giving me the opportunity to decline or accept or am I obligated to take the first one that becomes available. Bob - thank you for your post. Let me start by saying a lot of effort is initiated by us in securing quality property for our Members. It is not an easy task securing space that has a greater demand than supply (Industry-wide).

On the basis of we would only offer you a Crown or 5 Star rated resort, and any one of those quality resorts that were in your selection that matched, we feel if you specifically stated it was one of the resorts you would accept, then it is considered as a match and the exchange fee is due and payable for services rendered. Obviously we can't force you to take the resort offered, and you can decline it... but the exchange fee is due and payable.

To reduce any uncomfortable situation, we ask that you not list any specific resorts unless you are willing to accept them in the event of an exact match.

Mark, Thanks for the information. I just wanted to clarify how I thought the process worked. I usually try to research the resorts before actually putting in a request to avoid exactly what you mentioned in your reply.

Am I correct in the way I would put in a request for particular resorts by listing the names in the additional comment area. In other words if I want to exchange into the southern Calif. area and the SFX directory list approx. 10 resorts but I was only interested in 8 of the 10 would I list the 8 resorts in the comment area? I just want to be sure I list them correctly in order to avoid an uncomfortable situation as you mentioned. I didn't want to put in a request and find out after the fact that I did it wrong. Bob - you are correct. The resorts you will accept can be listed in the Comments Box in the Request screen.

I find it strange that the resorts I have listed in the Comments Box are no longer shown after I receive your acknowlegment. Why is this so ? How do I know that this important info is uptodate ? Suppose I want to delete one of the names originally listed do I need to provide you with a complete new list ? Thanks.
