    Hi Mark,
I am new to SFX, as I joined last year. I have spoken to two reps, Jennifer and Lisa. I called them both.

I have never received an update or phone call regarding my request. I called Liza yesterday and she had a place available in Hawaii (the big Island). This is not one of my preferences on a request, but when something in the region I have requested becomes available, shouldn't they call and offer this to me?
I was offered a resort that is not even in your directory. So I went to the website and looked at the timeshare. I then went and looked at some reviews. The latest review was very negative as the person stated that the hotel is in need of some maintenance. They stated that this resort should not be listed as a five star.

I would just appreciate a phone call from those agents when there is really something similar opening up. I know it is difficult to get 2bd units in Hawaii.

Is it possible to get a one bedroom and a studio? I could buy the studio with my bonus weeks? Or there is just no availability in Hawaii?

Please help and I feel I have been left out in the rain.

    Thanks,
    Colleen

Hi Colleen - and thank you for the account information. In reviewing, is it possible you may be relatively new to timeshare? (Maybe, mabye not).

I will be happy to assist you with this and go over some of the important basics.

With regards to not receiving a call about your request... Whether your requeset is placed online or with an agent... we do make it very clear an agent only contacts you when there is a match and a week to offer you. No call simply means what you are looking for hasn't yet become available, and a search is still in progress. Approximately every 45 days, if you haven't been matched, you are contacted via email with a status update.

If you follow the golden basic rules for placing requests, (If you are wanting a Crown or 5 Star resort in premium demanded time, in a premium demanded location... you need to display a reasonable degree of FLEXIBILITY on both travel weeks, and hopefully locations, and do not place severe restrictions for specific resorts, allow us to locate the same quality rated resort as the one you deposited)... and there is a "Near Match", then that week is offered to you for a yes or no... unless you placed "Restrictions".

Which brings me to the details of your request. You originally placed two requests with extreme Restrictions...

Any week from 6/7 through 7/31/07 (prime time) Kauai at only the Marriott or Point at Poipu, or the Embassy Resort in Maui... for a 2 bedroom unit only.

We like other exchange companies have confirmed a lot of members into 2 bedroom units in prime time in Hawaii, but the point is... the demand is far greater than the supply of space for such units, and the Members who have the best results are the one's who do not place restrictions for specific resorts.

We want this to work well for you, and fully understand there is a learning curve to go through. However, we do go out of our way to explain the downside to placing restrictions on your request that prevent positive results.

We do appreciate you later on contacting us and opening up to other resorts. Liza offered you a Gold Crown rated unit at Wyndham Royal Seacliff in Hawaii for the dates you needed. This rating is about the equivalent of the resort you deposited.

At this time, we still have a search for a 2 bedroom unit for you in those two Summer months. Could you please confirm by private message the number of people that will be traveling in your party?

Now you have removed those specific resort restrictions, an agent will contact you with alternatives and hopefully we can find availability for you.

We also note on 2/20/2007 you were offered a July 4th Holiday week at the French Quarter in New Orleans.

If you have any other questions, I will be more than happy to assist you via private message or my email at accounts@sfx-resorts.com.
