Grand Mayan Los Cabos not opened yet

Hi Mark -

The Grand Mayan Los Cabos was offered to us today as a bonus week for late November 2007. The resort is not scheduled to open until August 2007.

Do you have any idea of how we can find out whether it will still be undergoing noisy construction in the fall? The bonus offer requires that we decide by tomorrow. In your experience with the Grand Mayans does it seem risky to take this week if we value quiet?

Hudson - thank you for your post. We have been advised, all major construction should be completed by the end of May 2007. I think its reasonable to assume, there may be "minor" ongoing items to the resort for a short period after that.

I think it's a reasonable to believe you should have an incredible vacation...
