First Trade with SFX!

Mark, Just wanted to let you know how easy it was for me to make a trade with SFX. I have used RCI in the past and have actually had good luck and enjoy the ability to search online. I was a little nervous with not having this ability with SFX.

I made a request for high demand time (spring break), needed a 2 bedroom, and was specific on a few resorts that I wanted. I already had a backup plan in case I had problems with this trade. Within an hour of my request I recieved a call with 2 of the 4 resorts available. How great is that! This ended up being much easier than my trades with RCI. I will certainly use SFX again.

So, what resort and date did you get?

Grand Mayan, Los Cabos Spring break, next year. I am curious if anyone knows progress for this resort. This is my one concern. I believe they are supposed to open in August of this year.

Not sure what amenities and pools will be open.

Mark, SFX usually e-mails members with new promotions - what about the 2008 Bonus week promotion? Were members advised?

By the way, I've been getting quite a few e-mails about depositing my 2007 week, when that had already been done in March 2006 or so.

Hi Timetraveler - thank you for your post. We haven't sent any email or hard mail notices yet regarding the 2008 Special Offers. This should be launched by Tuesday of next week. There are different promotions for different resorts.

We will be notifying existing Members by email and regular mail as to the launch of the promotion. You will be able to see your the promotion for your resort when you login to your account and click the Specials tab.

I got my bonus week request filled for Sept. I just called my mother and told her the good news. We'll be taking her there to celebrate her 80th birthday!

We've got a 2 BR at the Polo Towers. Yippee!

Hope you won't mind all the construction activity around the Polo Towers. We just came back a week ago from Marriott's Grand Chateau which is just behind Polo Towers. In addition to Marriott's second tower, there is a huge construction project on the strip 1/2 block from Polo, Aladin is being rebuilt and the Plannet Hollywood tower by Westgate is going up on Harmon.
Some construction activity starts as early as 4 a.m. Try to get a unit facing MGM. Good luck.
