Have been reading reviews about the Lifestyle Hacienda ( Tropical) in the Dominican Republic. Wow....there are some horrible reviews about serious problems there. Bedbugs, holes in sheets, broken ovens, leaking fridges, unresponsive maintenance service, lots of food borne illness. Of course some folks are happy with it as well. I was just struck by the extreme level of negativity.

As it's on the sfx list, what kind of feedback does your office get? I just didn't think there would be places on the sfx directory that get reviews like " worst ever"....... "horrible resort" .............."terrible".............etc.

It's the only AI that I see...............any others on your list in the Caribbean as I wouldn't take a chance with this one.

Hudson - thank you for your post. Although this resort is listed by RCI as a Crown rated resort, this is not the property you see listed in our resort directory. These are "hotel units" in a completely different phase and area of the property, and are not up to our specification for a number of reasons. You may want to check and see how old those reviews are. In the last 2 years there has been a lot of renovation and new phases built.

The property we send our Members to, are the "Crown Villas" (3 Bedroom Villas) and Crown Residence Suites which is the VIP section of the property that you will not see on their site or anyone's directory.

These units have been inspected by SFX staff members. Lifestyle Hacienda Resorts | Puerto Plata | Dominican Republic - Lifestyle Crown Villas... and is highly-recommended.

That's good news.

Thanks very much for that good explanation that there are distinct entities. What you're describing as being in your directory is not the same property area as I read about even though the reviews were recent.
