zdxlc9p6 - You only pay the upgrade fee on bonus weeks if you are requesting a 2 bedroom unit up from a 1 bedroom unit; A Holiday week; In certain instances for premium resorts that normally do not meet bonus week criteria.

You still get the $20 discount off your Bonus week when booked.

I fully understood this. In another post above, I noted that SFX site states $149 to upgrade to a 2BR with a bonus week, and I willingly paid the $200 upgrade from MP to GM.

Since joining SFX last year, we have exchanged two weeks, reserved three bonus weeks, and three weeks still in the SFX bank. We can't use all of the weeks! With the bonus weeks offered by SFX, we have actually put two of our HGVC up for sale. Cost of a bonus week is much less than the cost of a regular exchange week when you include the maintenance and exchange fees. Got my renewal notice from RCI two weeks ago, and it went in the trash.
