Exact Match

Mark,
I am a new member with SFX, so bare with me please. My question is about exact match- I just read that if an exact match is made that I am charged reguardless if it is the particular resort I want to stay in or not. Why? I am not given an option to pick certain resorts - for example in Orlando - there are some on the list that would be wonderful, but there are some that I would not want to stay in because I have been there before and did not like the accomdations.

From what I understand, you would specifically list which resorts are acceptable to you in the "additional comments" box when you place your exchange request. If SFX matches any of those resorts listed, they will charge your credit card. They will still call first if they find a different resort that is not listed and check to see if it will be an acceptable exchange.

I'm sure Mark or others can verify if this is correct.

Temerson & Funtime - Temerson's post is correct. Also, keep in mind... we are not like other exchange companies where you might be matched with a 5 star one year and then a 3 star the following, with SFX you are only as a rule offered Gold Crown or 5 Star rated property. That being the case, as long as the match is for exact dates and locations (unless you specify upfront certain resorts), then the match is made and you are off on a great vacation. You don't have the fear-factor of "gee, is this place a dump?".
