  • Can bonus weeks fetch high season weeks?

Hi. First of all, please forgive the elementary question. I'm new to timesharing (in the midst of purchasing my very first - Fairfield Governors Green). Just trying to understand. I haven't signed up for membership yet because the deal hasn't closed.

I am interested in the promo SFX has going where depositing 1 week can get me 3 bonus weeks. Since I'd be depositing a high season one bedroom, could the bonus weeks also get me high season one bedroom (if I become platinum, possibly get upgraded to a two bedroom)?

In other words, it makes sense to me that since only high season deposits are accepted, that only high season weeks would be offered. Am I correct in my assumption?

    Thanks!

Molly - thank you for your post. For qualified deposits, the promo is 3 for 1... meaning one exchange, one bonus week anywhere and one bonus week in Mexico.

With an SFX Bonus Week, unlike other companies where bonus weeks are usually left-overs that cannot be booked more than 60 to 90 days in advance, you can request what you want and up to "one year" in advance. The Bonus Weeks are offered initially as one - bedroom suites, but you can request an upgrade to two-bedroom unit for only an additional $149.

For an "exchange", and you are a Platinum Member, you can request an upgrade to a two-bedroom unit for Free.

Although most of our deposited weeks are in high-season, we still access lesser demanded seasons and offer vacations year round in any season.

        Hope this helps...

Not yet. We go next month. My husband is willing. If he doesn't die, maybe I'll taste it.

We both thought English breakfast sausage was vile. I warned him as I'd tried it before, but he ordered it anyway. We weren't crazy about roley poley or spotted dick either.

I have received several prime weeks using bonus weeks. However, I haven't used bonus weeks for the past couple of years.

Mark, I thought I'd let you know that we tried a free sample of haggis at Edinburgh Castle and I didn't think it was bad. Mostly grain like oatmeal. The stuff we had had pork in it too, and lots of spices. They made it with a synthetic casing instead of a stomach, much like hot dogs are made with a casing instead of intestines (or "natural casing"). It's kind of like stuffing for a turkey. Anyway, my husband loved it and had it as a meal 3 or 4 times.

For anyone else going to Scotland, try it! It's really not bad at all.

Falmouth - So, the Haggis wasn't so bad ay? Pork and lots of spices... stuffing like turkey... stomach casing much like hot dogs... How many Newcastle Ales did you have? and what else did they tell you?

Glad you had a good time ...

Mark .... when making a deposit of a 2-Bedroom, can one expect to get a 2-bedroom in exchange?

Ray - thank you for your post. Although you are entitled to a 2 bedroom unit, it still all depends on availability at the resorts in the areas and dates you wish to travel.
