Mark, I don't see either Copper Mountain/Frisco or Winter Park in your Resort Directory. What are the chances that you could get us an exchange there?
We'd be looking for the November 7, 2008 in Copper or Nov 14, 2008 in Winter Park.

Going along with this question, we have a two bedroom ski week at Twin Rivers in Fraser/Winter Park for week 1. Will you take that week?

Shopgirl - thank you kindly for your inquiry. With regret, we are unable to take a deposit from the property in question. We do appreciate your interest.

Timetraveler - apologies for the delay, missed the question. The reason you don't see any resorts listed in those areas, is because of "quality issues". Although the standard is not high, you still may request them for your exchange on the condition you acknowledge and accept the quality disparity.

Of course, we would rather you select an area where everyone is comfortable the levels of quality. There are those who are more area oriented than quality oriented, and we want that to be an option.

          Hope this helps...

Thanks for the answer, Mark. I just hate waiting for an exchange that can never come through, so I appreciate all the information I can get. I see one Silver Crown in Copper Mountain and another one in Frisco (very close to Copper).
Are Silver Crowns not up to SFX standards?

Timetraveler - thank you for your reply. In a perfect world "no". In the real world, "possibly" and sometimes. It all depends... For example; If it's SC at a ski-resort in premium demand ski season, where the demand far exceeds supply of space in the exchange world, then there is a very strong possibility of accepting it as a deposit.

Even if we didn't have member deposits from such a property, but you are willing to accept SC, then we do have a number of resources in addition to our own member deposit pool where we have access to all kinds of inventory.

On a number of occassions Members have advised us they are willing to accept less than Gold Crown if something else becomes available. The goal is to get Members on a great vacation, using all resources possible and agreeable to the Member. There are Members who do not need to always be in a palace to have a great time.

              Hope this helps...
